Digital printers for indoor and outdoor signage, Chrysels Digital Advertising has invested in a direct dye sublimation machine from Mimaki, the JV5 320, purchased from Dubai-based distributors, Signtrade.
Says owner and director (marketing) Samuel Thomas, ” Since this is the one of the most advanced machine used in the textile industry especially in Europe, we opted to invest in this printer. The main features which tilted our decision in favour of the Mimaki are the fast direct and dye-sublimation processes and transfer printing in high quality on up to 3.2m width, highest productivity and less consumption of the ink.”
The Mimaki JV5-320DS series offers digital print companies and signmakers a super wide solution for direct printing onto polyester based materials, such as flags, banners, and other soft signage. The printer is suitable for exhibition graphics, window displays and retail POS. It is also possible to print on transfer paper for sublimation transfer printing.
Adds Thomas: “Yes, we can do both textile printing and paper transfer. This printer will enhance the scope of our productivity and creativity. We are very happy with the service provided by Signtrade, from whom we purchased this machine. Since our staff is well-versed in using the latest technology, we did not need to train them to use the machine.”
